Article 156(11) of Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/1485 of 2 August 2017 establishing a guideline on electricity transmission system operation (SO GL) requires that, by 6 months after entry into force of SO GL, the TSOs of the Continental Europe and Nordic synchronous areas shall propose the assumptions and the methodology for a cost-benefit analysis to be conducted, in order to assess the time period required for FCR providing units or groups with limited energy reservoirs to remain available during alert state.
The public consultation on the proposal launched on 10 January and closes on 18 February 2018.
In order to facilitate the understanding of the proposal, a stakeholder workshop will be held on 15 January at ENTSO-E premises in Brussels from 10h00 to 15h00.
Participants are kindly invited to register for the workshop at the latest by 12 January 2018 COB.
