ENTSO-EThe SF6 is fluorinated greenhouse gases and currently widely used in TSO applications such as for example gas-insulated lines and gas insulated substations. In this position paper, ENTSO-E and the TSO community confirm their commitment to continue working on the development of SF6 alternative technologies and substitutive gases. They call on a series of measures to be taken to facilitate the successful development and large deployment of alternative solutions and thus support the EU ambition of climate neutrality by 2050.
