Following up on the 10 June Webinar on 2030 Market Design, which attracted over 200 stakeholders, ENTSO-E organised on 12 November a second webinar, this time focusing on flexibility platforms, market-based redispatching, and consumers’ flexibility.

Unlocking the flexibility potential of all distributed energy resources for the benefits of consumers, system operators, and market parties, will be one of the key challenges to enable the energy transition at an affordable cost for society. While the legislative framework of the Clean Energy Package has recently set some fundamental principles at EU level, local initiatives, national regulation and pilot projects are offering a wide range of market design solutions.

Our aim was to discuss with all relevant stakeholders valuable experiences and different points of view to identify recommendations for the design of future electricity markets. Representatives of DSOs, Regulators, Suppliers, Consumers, Digital actors, as well as academics and consultants will animate the debate.

The agenda is available here.
