From mid-October to mid-November 2019 ENTSO-E will collect applications from electricity and storage infrastructure projects to the TYNDP2020.

To allow project promoters to prepare in advance of the submission period, ENTSO-E releases today a Guidance document, specifying the procedure and criteria for application. Projects promoters are advised to read the Guidance to understand:

• the administrative and technical criteria their project will be required to meet;

• the document and information they will be asked to submit to prove fulfilment of the criteria;

• the use and circulation of the information submitted;

• the procedure and timeline to apply to the TYNDP 2020.

A slidedeck ‘Applying to the TYNDP2020 – A visual guide to the main steps’ is also available. For questions, project promoters may contact lea.dehaudt@entsoe.eu and are also invited to join our webinar ‘Applying to the TYNDP2020’ on 14 October.

A draft version of the Guidance was circulated in June-July 2019 for consultation and has been edited based on the comments received. The main changes aim at clarifying several points and improving the presentation of information and overall document structure. The slidedeck accessible under ‘Documents’ below lists the main changes made.
